Immuno Elixir strengthens the immune system of both adults and children. Immuno elixir is a powerful drink with a high content of vitamin C, which contains strong active ingredients such as vitamin C, black swallow or chaga extract, blackcurrant and several Nordic herbs. The components we use in the Immuno elixir are well known in folk medicine, but research has shown that they have a restorative, strengthening and disease-preventing effect. All components of the elixir are aimed at strengthening the immune system – it keeps us healthy and protects against diseases.

  • Food supplement

Chaga or black swallow. In Eastern European folk medicine, the black swallow (Inonotus obliquus) has been used since the 16th century. In research, chaga has shown strong anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory effects. In popular parlance, it is also mistakenly called birch sponge, which is another fungus (Piptoporus betulinus).

chaga

The anti-inflammatory effect of Chaga is primarily associated with ergosterol (ergosterol), ergosterol peroxide, and tramethenolic acid (Ma L et al 2013). The effect of inotodiol and terpenoids in chagas on blood glucose control has also been identified (Ying YM et al 2014).

In Russian folk medicine, chaga has been used to treat non-surgical breast, oral, gastrointestinal, parathyroid, skin and Hodgkin’s diseases (Pilz D 2004). When health improved, it could not be associated with specific compounds in chagas. Nowadays, they can be isolated and linked to healing effects.

Among the isolated substances, the most important are triterpenes, lactones, lanosterols, inotodiols, tramethenolic acid, oxalic acid, protocatechuic acid, p-hydrobenzoic acid, cinnamic, betulin, betulinic acid, phytosterols, beta-D glucans, etc. (et al.

Chaga stimulates macrophages and promotes cell death in tumor processes (Staniszewska J et al 2017). An important role in this is attributed to the endopolysaccharides found in chagas (Mizuno T et al 1996). In animal studies, chaga has induced a percentage increase in T-helper lymphocytes (Leontev M et al 1990) and intensified the formation of additional T-killers (Shashkina M et al 2006). Laboratory experiments with ergosterol peroxide have confirmed inhibition of colorectal cancer cell growth (Kang JH et al 2015).

The ability to inhibit cancer and suppress mutational factors is associated with melanin in black ash. Melanin is involved in repairing DNA defects in the body, as an electron acceptor in the cellular respiratory chain and as a body’s protective agent against radiation (Britton B 1986).

The role of polysaccharides – which directly attack cancer cells – and the indirect activation of the immune system by cancer cells and endopolysaccharides are also considered to be important anti-cancer mechanisms (Mizuno T et al. 1996).

In blackcurrant folk medicine, it is known primarily as a body resistance and viral disease preventant, iron deficiency alleviator, high cholesterol lowering agent, intestinal inflammation reducer, kidney and urinary tract inflammation alleviator. It is also recommended for the treatment of arrhythmias and hypertension, for the supportive treatment of airway and pneumonia and angina, for rheumatic and gout disorders, and for the elimination of harmful substances from the body.

In particular, it contains vitamin C, 100 grams of berries contain twice as much vitamin C as the body’s daily need, ie 181 mg. A meta-analysis has shown that vitamin C administration reduces the risk of developing respiratory diseases (pneumonia), especially in the elderly population. This is especially true in the current era of viral infections.

One of the more effective anti-disease agents is considered to be a group of substances called anthocyanins (anthocyuanes) in berries. These are chemical polyphenolic compounds with high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. They are also associated with a blood pressure lowering effect. There are also indications in the scientific literature that anthocyanins help to increase athletic performance and fight obesity (obesity).
