What is Collistar Glycolic Acid serum?<\/h2>\n

This is an exfoliating serum from the Collistar Attivi Puri, or Pure Actives, line. Collistar describes glycolic acid as an alpha-hydroxy acid that dermatologists use for peeling treatments. It removes dead cells from the surface of the skin and helps the skin renew itself. Collistar researchers have calibrated the pH and the concentration of the acid and paired it with two more alpha-hydroxy acids, mandelic and gluconic acid, which complete and moderate its action. The result is a daily peel that Collistar calls effective but gradual and non-aggressive. According to the brand, it renews the surface of the skin, brightens the complexion, refines the skin texture and minimises pores and small imperfections. The formula is free of fragrance, alcohol, colourants, silicones and animal-derived ingredients.<\/p>\n
