Babé Pediatric Oil Soap is a daily bath gel in a 200 ml bottle for the skin of babies and children. It is made especially for very dry or atopic-prone skin: it cleanses gently, nourishes deeply and brings instant comfort. The oily texture turns into a fine foam as soon as it meets water and skin.

What is Babé Pediatric Oil Soap?

It is the children’s version of the Oil Soap by the Spanish Laboratorios Babé. Instead of a classic gel base, it is built on plant oils rich in essential fatty acids. These emulsify in water and form a gentle lather that cleans without drying the skin. The syndet formula makes washing milder than ordinary soap. The product is paediatrically tested and tested on atopic-prone skin.

"Babé

Babé Pediatric Oil Soap supports the skin’s natural protective barrier and gives softness and moisture from the very first bath. After rinsing, there is no greasy film, only a soft and nourished feel.

Who it is for

The oil soap suits the skin of babies and children, and it is at its best when skin is very dry, tight or prone to atopy. The oily lather is soft and pleasant for the daily bath. You can find more care for little ones among our products for children, and the whole range of the brand on the Babé page.

Oil cleansing for dry skin

Dry skin in children needs different care at washing time than ordinary skin. When a cleanser is too strong, skin can feel tight and rough after the bath. With an oil soap it works the other way round: the plant oils cleanse and nourish at the same time, so the skin gets its first care while it is being washed. That is why it suits the winter months well, when heating and cold air make skin drier than usual. It is a good choice in summer too, after swimming, when the skin wants soft cleansing and moisture.

Active ingredients and formula

The heart of the formula is avocado oil at 10 %. It contains omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids that nourish the skin and help restore its barrier function. The SkinRepair complex (2 %) combines bio ceramides, bisabolol and plant phytosterols: bisabolol brings comfort, while ceramides and phytosterols support the structure of the skin. Vitamin F (1 %) and vitamin E (0.25 %) complete the blend. Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant that helps hydrate and soften dry, sensitive skin. Corn, rosehip and sunflower oils add to the plant oil content.
