Description

Description

Hansaplast Sensitive XL are sterile 6 x 7 cm plasters, 5 in a pack. They are made for covering medium and larger everyday wounds and also suit covering a wound after minor procedures. The especially skin-friendly, breathable material holds reliably and is comfortable to wear.

What is Hansaplast Sensitive XL?

This is the large sterile plaster of the Hansaplast Sensitive range for sensitive skin. A hypoallergenic adhesive and a breathable structure make it kind to delicate skin. Skin tolerance is dermatologically confirmed. The plaster holds firmly while staying comfortable on the skin.

In the centre is an extra-large soft wound pad. It absorbs wound fluid, cushions the wound and does not stick to it. Each plaster is individually packed and sterile, so you open it exactly when you need it.

When it is useful

Hansaplast Sensitive XL is useful when a regular strip is too small, for example to cover a larger scratch, graze or cut on a knee, elbow, forearm or shin. It also suits covering stitches or a wound after minor procedures, unless a doctor or nurse has given other instructions. Sensitive and delicate skin, such as that of older people, gets comfortable protection. You will find more practical items in our body care accessories category.

How to use

  1. Clean the wound and the area around it and let the skin dry.
  2. Open the sterile pack and remove the protective papers without touching the pad.
  3. Place the pad centrally on the wound and press the edges onto healthy skin.
  4. Put on a fresh plaster every day.

The plaster sticks best to clean and dry skin. On a hairy area, trimming the hair first helps the plaster sit evenly.

Five plasters for the first aid kit

The pack contains five individually wrapped plasters. That is a sensible amount for a home first aid kit, the car, the summer cottage and a travel bag. Together with regular plasters for small scratches and elastic plasters for fingers, your first aid kit is ready for almost any everyday situation. A large plaster is also a good addition to a hiking bag and for garden work.

Comfortable on sensitive skin

Many people have sensitive skin, especially later in life or when a plaster has to be worn for several days in a row. Hansaplast Sensitive XL was made for exactly that. The breathable material lets the skin breathe, and the hypoallergenic adhesive is gentle. The plaster is easy to remove.

Thanks to the large pad, the area around the wound stays clean and protected even when the wound is a little wider. The plaster is thin, so ordinary clothes fit over it, and the day can go on as usual.

Help in every season

Summer means garden work, cycling and hikes; winter brings icy pavements and ski tracks. In both seasons a fall can leave a larger graze that a regular strip is too narrow for. That is when Hansaplast Sensitive XL helps.

Hansaplast

Hansaplast has been protecting wounds for more than 100 years, and the brand belongs to Beiersdorf. The Hansaplast range has plasters for every situation: for children, for fingers, for sensitive skin and for larger wounds. You will find the whole range on the Hansaplast page.

Frequently asked questions

What size are the plasters?

Each plaster measures 6 x 7 cm, and the pack holds 5 sterile plasters.

Is the plaster suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The material is especially skin-friendly and breathable, the adhesive is hypoallergenic and skin tolerance is dermatologically confirmed.

Does the plaster stick to the wound?

No. The large soft pad absorbs wound fluid and does not stick to the wound.

Which plasters should I add to my first aid kit?

For small scratches, elastic plasters work well, and for children the Paw Patrol or Marvel kids’ plasters. See the Hansaplast products page.
