Lauren x Magrada body balm 200 ml gives dry and dehydrated skin deep, long-lasting moisture. It combines seven plant oils, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and white peony and daisy extracts to leave the skin soft and supple. The silky texture absorbs comfortably without a heavy or greasy layer, and the scent is a warm blend of pistachio, almond and sandalwood.

What is Magrada body balm?

Magrada body balm was created together with Lauren Villmann to moisturise deeply and to have a distinctive scent. The formula replenishes moisture, supports the skin barrier and leaves the skin soft. The 200 ml jar is made for daily use at home and is generous enough for the whole body.

The balm suits all skin types, including sensitive skin, and is aimed in particular at very dry or dehydrated skin. Long-lasting hydration means that dry skin feels softer, smoother and more supple.

Seven plant oils to support the skin barrier

The heart of the Magrada body balm is seven plant oils. Safflower, apricot kernel and jojoba oils are COSMOS organic oils. The formula also contains coconut, avocado and sunflower seed oils, together with cocoa seed butter. Plant oils contain lipids that help support the skin barrier and reduce moisture loss, and the blend of several oils aims for lasting softness rather than a momentary effect.

Hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and flower extracts

Hyaluronic acid, listed as sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, helps the skin attract and retain moisture. Vitamin E (tocopherol) and ascorbyl palmitate complete the formula with an extra touch of restorative care. Ascorbyl palmitate is a derivative of vitamin C. The formula also contains glycerin and caprylic/capric triglyceride, a light emollient derived from coconut oil. Cocoa seed butter is a plant fat from cocoa beans, and avocado oil comes from the avocado fruit. The list contains white peony and daisy flower extracts and quince seed extract.

How to use

Massage the Magrada body balm onto clean skin in slow, circular motions until it is absorbed. The best moment is after a shower or bath while the skin is still slightly damp, because this helps to lock in moisture. Use it every day from shoulders to toes, and give extra attention to drier areas such as elbows and knees.

Magrada: an Estonian family company

Magrada body balm is made by an Estonian family company with roots on the island of Hiiumaa. The grandmother of founder Kaire worked in the Kärdla pharmacy, and her knowledge of medicinal herbs is the foundation of Magrada products. All Magrada products are vegan and not tested on animals, and most products are made in small batches at the company’s own production in Pärnu. The name Magrada means “I like it” in Catalan.
