What is the Magrada travel balm?

The Magrada travel balm is the smaller format of the popular body balm from the Lauren x Magrada collection. The formula and the scent are the same as in the 200 ml jar, only the packaging is different. The pouch is compact and fits into a travel bag, a gym bag or a handbag, so moisturising care is always within reach.

The texture is silky and the balm absorbs comfortably without a heavy or greasy layer. The moisture lasts, and dry skin feels softer, smoother and more supple.

Seven plant oils and hyaluronic acid

The balm is built on seven plant oils. Safflower, apricot kernel and jojoba oils are COSMOS organic oils. Plant oils contain lipids that help support the skin barrier and reduce moisture loss. The list also contains coconut, avocado and sunflower seed oils and cocoa seed butter.

Hyaluronic acid helps the skin attract and retain moisture, and vitamin E adds an extra touch of restorative care. The list also includes white peony, daisy and quince seed extracts.

Natural origin and a clean formula

Base ingredients and texture

The base of the formula is water (aqua) and caprylic/capric triglyceride, a light emollient derived from coconut oil. Glycerin is a moisture-binding ingredient. Glyceryl stearate, stearyl alcohol and lecithin shape the silky texture and keep the water and oil phases blended. Sodium polyacrylate is a thickener, and citric acid adjusts the acidity of the formula. The balm is preserved with phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. Ascorbyl palmitate is a derivative of vitamin C, and jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) is pressed from jojoba seeds.

Scent: pistachio, almond and sandalwood

Magrada: an Estonian family company

Magrada is an Estonian family company run by a mother and a daughter. Its roots are on the island of Hiiumaa, where the grandmother of founder Kaire worked in the Kärdla pharmacy and passed on the knowledge of medicinal herbs that is still the foundation of the products.
