What are Gillette Mach3 replacement blades?

Mach3 is Gillette’s classic three-blade shaving system for men, made for a close shave without the fuss. The eight-cartridge pack suits men who shave often and like to have a fresh cartridge waiting in the cabinet. Counting 15 shaves per cartridge, as Gillette states, eight cartridges give up to 120 shaves.

How the cartridge works

The three blades sit one after another, so each blade cuts the hair slightly closer than the one before it. Gillette calls the blades stronger than steel and says they stay sharp for longer than Sensor3 blades. Above the blades sits an improved lubrication strip that, according to Gillette, adds extra glide compared with the previous Mach3 for a comfortable shave. Below the blades, a microfin guard prepares the skin for the shave.
