Biotherm Biosource Daily Exfoliating is a facial cleansing gel that also exfoliates, made for everyday use. It washes the face and gently lifts away dead cells in one step. The 150 ml tube holds a melting gel that Biotherm describes as suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

What is Biotherm Biosource Daily Exfoliating?

On the pack it carries the French name Gelée Micellaire. It is a melting cleansing gel that Biotherm calls the first anti-adhesion technology for the skin in a melting formula. The gel clears away impurities and dead cells. According to Biotherm, skin becomes smoother and more even, and the complexion looks radiant straight away. Skin texture looks refined as well.

The ingredients that do the work

In Biotherm Biosource Daily Exfoliating, natural pumice micro-particles provide the scrub. Biotherm calls this exfoliation gentle and suited to daily use. Extract of the golden alga L. saccharina helps remove even the smallest impurities, the brand says. The foaming cleansers are sodium laureth sulfate and coco-betaine. The formula also contains salicylic acid and glycerin.

As in other Biotherm products, it includes Life Plankton™. This thermal plankton extract holds 35 nutrients according to the brand, among them proteins, vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids and trace elements. Biotherm says they help revive the skin’s vital functions.

How to use

1. Wet your face with water.
2. Apply a small amount of gel to damp skin.
3. Massage gently, paying extra attention to the T-zone.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
